With all this pumpkin spice latte talk, I just had to have one. Not just any kind, I wanted to make a tasty homemade one. I have attempted making pumpkin latte's in the past and have always come out unsuccessful. Failure after failure with my no luck with the PSL, I had given up...until today...
I was scrolling though Pinterest and found it! Found a skinny pumpkin spice latte that would change my life (seriously). I was skeptical, yes, but I attempted it and prevailed and not to mention enjoyed every last sip (can I have more please). So where can you find this awesome recipe, well right here of course, CLICK ME!!
Now I may be bias because I LOVE pumpkin, but I truly believe you will enjoy this too. And of course, since I am a self proclaimed amateur chef, I had to make some modifications. Using my Tassimo brewer, I brewed an espresso shot instead of the coffee the recipe called for. If I am going to consume a PSL, I am doing it the authentic coffee house way. I also replaced the soy milk with some 2% generic milk. So one shot down, while the mixture warms up in the microwave I was on my toes. Once I got it to the warm consistency I wanted, I pored it on top of the shot and topped it with whip cream and a carmel drizzle. What a sight for sore eyes folks. When I was ready to drink it, I fell in love, so in love that I want to make one until spring approaches.
All hail the PSL
