The map is up

I am proud to say the map of middle earth poster is up on my wall. That only took about 3 months, yikes! Procrastination is to keen. Anyways, this past weekend was my first weekend off and its was amazing. I couldn't imagine spending it any other way or with anyone else.

I have always wanted to go apple picking. I never have been and I love making goodies with apples, especially apple crisp. So, I have always imagined it to be this romantic date and I was right, it totally was. My bae surprised me this Sunday with apple picking! We picked honey crisp apples together and by together, I mean he put me on his shoulders so we could get the gems on the top of the tree. It was just so amazing and I can not stop raving over how lucky I am. Honestly, how did I get so lucky? If you have never been apple picking before like me, I totally recommend doing it. It is a great experience and perfect type of date for some lovey dovey bonding.

With my apples so far I have made cinnamon apple sauce. I honestly think its the best batch I have ever made too. I have a few apples left and am contemplating over apple pie or apple crisp. With apple pie its good for more then one day and with apple crisp it is best if eaten that same day. Decisions decisions...
